For this pice i made the line art on a layer and on a layer underneath it i just colored in the shapes. It was a simple study and more monotonous then challenging
On something like this you are mostly learning how to look at the figure in a stylized way by following their marks and shapes. The hard part will be applying that to your own drawing.
Thats the intro to the game "curse of monkey island". The artwork of the entire game looks incredibly similar. For the life of me I could not track down the guys name.
Your work on this study looks really good. I do however wish that I could see it closer.
