this is the original. what i like about it are all the effect that seem to be going on. The glows and lighting make it look like the piece is moving and i would like to capture that in my next assignment
Definitely an interesting style, and there is alot of interesting SFX going on...
It's really hard to tell if you painted the lightning and flash of light directly as a color or used a blending mode..but the artist definitely used a blend mode (such as color burn).
This is a great example of using light! Pay close attention to the subtle blurring that happens in lights. The edges are often blurred with a sharper light just inside.
